FELGTB
— The Hidden Flag

2018
Russia is one of the most homophobic countries in the world, and its laws forbid public shows of the LGBTQ community. Displaying the rainbow flag can be punishable with a prison sentence.

So, during 2018’s World Cup, we decided to defy the law and fight against homophobia, nailing the rainbow flag formed by 6 activists wearing soccer jerseys from different countries, hidden in plain sight.

We designed some posters that worked as the activist’s jerseys: each one had its nation color and, together, they formed  the phrase “Together our pride can be global”.

And the posters were spread throughout Madrid’s Pride event.
